Business as usual, bar patrons exit Fat Jacks Bar, walk onto Main Street and over toward near their vehicle. One member of the group just openly urinates on one of the parking places. Just the sort of behavior thats condusive for attracting new business and more customers. Again, how on earth can the City Council say with a straight face that there is nothing wrong going on in the downtown. I suppose if they do not have any respect for their own downtown, then why should any of the bar customers. And this attitude of "as long as its not in my backyard" exists, this is the sort of behavior that will be condoned in the downtown. And then they wonder why there is little interest in the downtown. Sort of a self-fulfilling prophecy brought on by apathy and bar revenue..

Where can you see a one bar patron go after another on the city sidewalk, with one of the patrons grabbing the other by the neck, and then using his forearms batter and sucker punch the victim, all right in front of the polcie and not get arrested. The bar patron who did most of the punching and grabbing gets treated more like a friend or possibly law enforcement, no problem and victim gets the lecture. But, this is what downtown bar patrons and residents are seeing. All kinds of people and venues seem to be treated very unequally under the law. Another red flag warning on the Kangeroo Scale of Justice where you have to ask yourself, is this really where I want to invest and start my business?.. Surely not if continues like this.
